Neway is excited to introduce the Guardian System, the leading technology in patient security in the U.S. The Guardian System is our state-of-the-art biosecurity technology, invented by our founder, Dr. Jin-Ho Lim. This technology provides extensive patient security to prevent mismatching and mix-ups. Seeing the Guardian System’s great success within the Maria Hospital Network in Korea, Dr. Lim decided to implement the technology at Neway to providing top level security, increased efficiency, and enhanced patient experience.
How it works: Our system uses biometric recognition that scans specific characteristics, such as fingerprint scanning, to verify patient identity. Once the patient is identified, labels will be printed and distributed properly. One label is placed on the patient’s wristband and the other is placed on the specimen container. This allows us to confirm the patient’s identity and makes for a seamless fertility process.
